Osvaldo Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Ubelteso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Ambrosio Amor hit a great ball. In the 31st match minute, Patricios Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Raphael to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Panpili in the 33rd minute of play forced Patricios Futbol Club's goalkeeper Iker Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Santupea's Samuel Dimas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Samuel Dimas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Santupea protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Samuel Dimas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Osvaldo Beturian struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nicasio Ubelteso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricios Futbol Club. Santupea's Pablo Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Botello charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Botello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bartolo Botello hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Elvio Raphael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Ubelteso having to interfere. After 53 minutes, Carolo Paublo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santupea and the Patricios Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes, Patricios Futbol Club's Osvaldo Beturian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicasio Ubelteso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patricios Futbol Club reached it. Nicasio Ubelteso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Beturian went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Pablo Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Bertin charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 77th minute Ambrosio Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pablo Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rene Iztal charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Iztal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute Osvaldo Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Ubelteso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pablo Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patricios Futbol Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
