Iker Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Nafarroa in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Beturian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ákos Csontos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ripiculti de La Plata's Teobaldo Urtsin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cornelio Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cornelio Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ákos Csontos having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Urtsin was the one to do the kick off. Teobaldo Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Nerio having to interfere. A collision led to Ripiculti de La Plata getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Erasmo Caradaro hit a great ball. If Osvaldo Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Patricios Futbol Club getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fulgencio Gaspard hit a great ball. When Teobaldo Urtsin fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ripiculti de La Plata's protests and gave Teobaldo Urtsin a yellow card for diving instead. Teobaldo Urtsin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to Patricios Futbol Club getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Elvio Raphael hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Patricios Futbol Club's Fulgencio Gaspard got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Ripiculti de La Plata's Ákos Csontos got control of the ball when Osvaldo Beturian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iker Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Urtsin, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Iker Nerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Urtsin's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ripiculti de La Plata's zone, Daniel Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ákos Csontos came out of the goal and Daniel Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ripiculti de La Plata's goalkeeper Ákos Csontos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
