Iker Nerio made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Carmelo Evis sent off a good shot on target. Rene Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Osvaldo Beturian made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Leoni AFC's Galeno Fuente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Patricios Futbol Club booed when Leoni AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricios Futbol Club's Iker Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ospetsu in the 26th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Beturian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Galeno Fuente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elvio Raphael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galeno Fuente having to interfere. The supporters of Leoni AFC booed when Patricios Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Victor Celipe in the 39th minute really tested Iker Nerio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Leoni AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Beturian came free, but Galeno Fuente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Celestino Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Beturian in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galeno Fuente saved Leoni AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Marcones during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Patricios Futbol Club were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Beturian to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Leoni AFC's zone, Osvaldo Beturian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Galeno Fuente came out of the goal and Osvaldo Beturian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Frantzes during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Patricios Futbol Club's Desiderio Frantzes got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Placido Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 63 played minutes Patricios Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Frantzes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Evis in the 67th minute of play forced Patricios Futbol Club's goalkeeper Iker Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Beturian in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galeno Fuente saved Leoni AFC from getting behind. Osvaldo Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Galeno Fuente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Ospetsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Leoni AFC's Galeno Fuente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Raphael in the 78th minute of play. Patricios Futbol Club's Osvaldo Beturian was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 83 minutes into the game, one of Patricios Futbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 88 minutes into the match, Celestino Marcones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Nerio. Patricios Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Marcones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After a rather tough play, Leoni AFC's Carlos Bernad got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Elvio Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricios Futbol Club played a much better game than Leoni AFC and deserved their victory. The Leoni AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
