Nicasio Ubelteso came out of the goal and Rafael Clodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Feliciano Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ákos Csontos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosio Amor went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Santupea's Pablo Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Teobaldo Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Ubelteso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ákos Csontos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Demesio in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Pablo Demesio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ákos Csontos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ákos Csontos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Panpili in the 25th minute of play. Nicasio Ubelteso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Urtsin in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Santupea's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Urtsin came free, but Nicasio Ubelteso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laureano Panpili was the one to do the kick off. In the 76th minute, Teobaldo Urtsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Urtsin got free with Nicasio Ubelteso in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laureano Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ákos Csontos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Santupea booed when Ripiculti de La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Clemencin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
