After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Alfredo Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Pandilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Vincent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ROMAN-TICOS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fermin Rius hit a great ball. La Pandilla's Leon Ourente got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ROMAN-TICOS's goalkeeper Romulo Goren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to ROMAN-TICOS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Froilan Baudelio hit a great ball. When Leon Ourente came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the La Pandilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Ourente couldn't finish the play. Froilan Baudelio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes, Nemesio Palos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROMAN-TICOS and the La Pandilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes ROMAN-TICOS got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Palos. In the 30th minute, Leon Ourente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, La Pandilla's Pascual Jaume nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Goren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Fermin Rius was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. In a very dangerous position, a player in ROMAN-TICOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for La Pandilla. Pascual Jaume stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romulo Goren. 0-2. Froilan Baudelio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Ourente to make the kick off. When Nemesio Palos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. The supporters of La Pandilla booed when ROMAN-TICOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Palos didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Ourente couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Pascual Jaume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Goren. ROMAN-TICOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Jaume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Leon Ourente might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Goren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leon Ourente ran back to his position shaking his head. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when La Pandilla's Leon Ourente in the 70th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Romulo Goren was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for ROMAN-TICOS through an amazing save. After having played for 76 minutes, Leon Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Pandilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Ourente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ROMAN-TICOS's Romulo Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Ourente in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as La Pandilla's Leon Ourente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romulo Goren. That made the score 0-4 after 81 minutes of play. When La Pandilla's Leon Ourente in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ROMAN-TICOS's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Vincent's late challenge caught a ROMAN-TICOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Vincent helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, La Pandilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ROMAN-TICOS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Pandilla were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
