In the 17th match minute, Palmas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Urtungo to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Hever in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felipe Librado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacobo Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Jonathan Hever put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Felipe Librado. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Jonathan Hever got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 34 minutes into the match, Jacobo Normando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felipe Librado, 2-0. Jacobo Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Jonathan Hever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Hever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jonathan Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Palmas F.C.'s Gerardo Urtungo got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Palmas F.C.'s Felipe Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Normando in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palmas F.C.'s zone, Jonathan Hever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Librado came out of the goal and Jonathan Hever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Jacobo Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Librado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Palmas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Urtungo to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Marcelo Bikendi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palmas F.C.'s Felipe Librado didn't even have to move. Palmas F.C.'s Ignacio Peli got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Hever in the 80th minute of play forced Palmas F.C.'s goalkeeper Felipe Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Librado came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Espinillo AFC's Jacobo Normando. But to his dismay, Jacobo Normando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Felipe Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Normando in the 94th minute of the match. Felipe Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Hever in the 95th minute of play. Alfonso Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Mark having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Espinillo AFC fully deserved thier win.
