Aurelio Otsando came out of the goal and Enrique Oso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Quilmes fc fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Quilmes fc's 柯俊誉 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 柯俊誉 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aurelio Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Gaudencio Gonchan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Otsando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Quilmes fc's Igor Zukowski got control of the ball when Roberto Maurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Israel Oskarbi hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Punta Alta Team got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Sanchez. In the 36th minute, Roberto Maurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Punta Alta Team's Aurelio Otsando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Sein in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Punta Alta Team's goal looked a bit too open when 柯俊誉 came free, but Aurelio Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Zukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eleuterio Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Punta Alta Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quilmes fc were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Claris made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Punta Alta Team got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Maurin. Igor Zukowski came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Punta Alta Team's Roque Claris. But to his dismay, Roque Claris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Eleuterio Sein was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Quilmes fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Quilmes fc defense, Roque Claris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Zukowski. The Quilmes fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Zukowski should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Punta Alta Team's Israel Oskarbi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Zukowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After 72 minutes of play, Punta Alta Team's Roque Claris made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Zukowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrique Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Otsando having to interfere. The audience was convinced that 柯俊誉's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Otsando was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Modesto Normando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Aurelio Otsando made a huge save. Many of Quilmes fc's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Quilmes fc may have spent more time on the ball, but Punta Alta Team were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
