After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Nestor Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pucará's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Vistruario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13thth minute of the game Enrique Osoro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atucha AFC's David Gonzalez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Nestor Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Orzaize in the 19th minute of the match. Angel Orzaize might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Rius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Orzaize ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Osoro in the 25th minute of play forced Atucha AFC's goalkeeper David Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Orzaize in the 27th minute of play. Matias Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Karmel's late challenge caught a Pucará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Karmel helped the player get up and apologised. David Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Telmo went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Atucha AFC's David Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Atucha AFC from getting a goal against them. If Enrique Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Victorino Telmo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Gonzalez, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Arixo to make the kick off. Aaron Frederik charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Frederik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Osoro in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Gonzalez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pucará's Enrique Osoro in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atucha AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Angel Orzaize took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Rius. Manuel Rius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Enrique Osoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Victorino Telmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atucha AFC's Freddy Orzaize got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Victorino Telmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Victorino Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. David Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pucará's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
