In the 16th minute Virgilio Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cochagual FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Juan Uzuri hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Cochagual FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Shantala came free, but Freddy Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cochagual FC booed when Florida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Cochagual FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Florida were winning 0-2.
