Petruț Andone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Quentin in the 10th minute of the match. When Abelardo Espiridion came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the a q p w fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Espiridion couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Wilton das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Tulio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to a q p w getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Santo Sesuldo hit a great ball. Ladislao Sergi's late challenge caught a Leoni AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Sergi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, one of a q p w:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for a q p w. With an all-out effort, a q p w's Geronimo Tulio threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abelardo Espiridion, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abelardo Espiridion scored 3-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Tulio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geronimo Tulio made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Wilton das Neves sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Lluc charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Lluc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the game, one of Leoni AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Abelardo Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Tulio having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Leoni AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Tulio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilton das Neves. Basilio Dalmau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After having played for 62 minutes, Abelardo Espiridion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. a q p w's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Espiridion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Espiridion in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Tulio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Wilton das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Leoni AFC's zone, Basilio Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Tulio came out of the goal and Basilio Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Espiridion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
