Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gregorio Etxepare took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Nicasio Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toscal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Toscal's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Etxepare came free, but Fabian Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicasio Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Los Potrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. Los Potrillos's Benjamin Cresencio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vinicio Cugat in the 60 minute of the game. Gabriel Quirze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Botello in the 69th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Vinicio Cugat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toscal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Potrillos the free kick. A collision led to Toscal getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Vinicio Cugat hit a great ball. When Octavio Beltran came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Los Potrillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Beltran couldn't finish the play. In the 80th match minute, Los Potrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Barbosa in the 82nd minute of play. Octavio Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Astudillo having to interfere. Los Potrillos's Benjamin Cresencio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vinicio Cugat, made in the 90th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Los Potrillos's goalkeeper Gabriel Quirze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Botello. Toscal were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Los Potrillos's much stronger midfield.
