When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Desiderio Manuelo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gonzalo Lawrence. After having played for 19 minutes, Desiderio Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Manuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonzalo Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Tallia in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Desiderio Manuelo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Modesto Tallia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gonzalo Lawrence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedermar's Diego Txordon got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adan Vela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Oihenarte in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Oihenarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adan Vela was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 46th match minute, Ovara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pedermar booed when Ovara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Pedermar's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Manuelo came free, but Gonzalo Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Lawrence having to interfere. Ezequiel Oihenarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adan Vela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Oihenarte ran back to his position shaking his head. When Romeo Jerardo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedermar's protests and gave Romeo Jerardo a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Jerardo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Modesto Tallia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Lawrence having to make a save. Ezequiel Oihenarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Vela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Diego Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedermar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Txordon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pedermar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ovara FC.
