The supporters of Goldney AFC booed when Ovara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Desiderio Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Manuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Jurdan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ovara FC booed when Goldney AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Ovara FC's Desiderio Manuelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Jurdan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Desiderio Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Carlos Jurdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Basilio Argi could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Adan Vela however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Santos Silviano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adan Vela was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 32 played minutes, Goldney AFC's Gerardo Bonadona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adan Vela came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goldney AFC reached it. German Virila kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gerardo Bonadona, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Santos Silviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldney AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Silviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Vela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes Ovara FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Chuan. Adan Vela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Argi went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Pascual Casomiro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Silviano made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Modesto Tallia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ovara FC and the Goldney AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Modesto Tallia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Silviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Adan Vela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Manuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Goldney AFC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Goldney AFC's Basilio Argi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 70 minutes into the match, Ovara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Silviano came free, but Adan Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Tallia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ovara FC booed when Goldney AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Goldney AFC's Santos Silviano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adan Vela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 82nd minute Basilio Argi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Ovara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Argi came free, but Adan Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Basilio Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Silviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Cayetano Luzaide fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ovara FC's protests and gave Cayetano Luzaide a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Goldney AFC had won after a very even match.
