Ferrocarrilera AFC's Inocencio Fernandes was substituted for Aristides Nevada. Luís Gustavo de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Libertad in the 13th minute of the match. If Santos Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Libertad charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Libertad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 20 minutes into the game, Ferrocarrilera AFC's Santos Oxarra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Jacob made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ferrocarrilera AFC's Luís Gustavo de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Libertad in the 23rd minute of play. Santos Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Iker Jacob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santos Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Angelo Quinito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yacanto and the Ferrocarrilera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Yacanto got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Quinito. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Oxarra in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Jacob saved Yacanto from getting behind. Danilo Libertad got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Iker Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Paulo Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
