The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaime Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Jaime Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cordona's zone, Gerardo Ekialde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Rexino came out of the goal and Gerardo Ekialde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Domingo Ostadar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Ostadar struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jeremias Refugio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordona. The supporters of Cordona booed when Falda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Cordona's Jaime Cordeiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Refugio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domingo Ostadar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Refugio having to interfere. Horacio Rexino made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Cirilo Bernat sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Falda FC booed when Cordona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Ostadar in the 31st minute of the match. Cirilo Bernat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Horacio Rexino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 47 in the game by Cirilo Bernat from a close distance when the talented Horacio Rexino managed to make a qualified save. Cordona's players were relieved. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Ostadar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cirilo Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Refugio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Ostadar went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Horacio Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Bernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Domingo Ostadar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 60 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jeremias Refugio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 64th minute Domingo Ostadar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Refugio having to interfere. If Domingo Ostadar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falda FC's Jeremias Refugio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Falda FC from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the game, Efrain Jatsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cordona the free kick. In the 78th minute, Falda FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaime Cordeiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gerardo Ekialde took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Rexino. Horacio Rexino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 90 played minutes Falda FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Jatsu. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Bernat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Rexino was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The Cordona players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Falda FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
