The supporters of Cubanea booed when Lanús FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Lope in the 9th minute of play forced Lanús FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Gergori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Gergori having to interfere. Marcelino Orlondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Epifanio Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zacarias Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Gergori came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Cubanea's Urbano Lope. But to his dismay, Urbano Lope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jonathan Astrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Lanús FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Toli. Robustiano Gergori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Astrada in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Marcelino Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Astrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lanús FC's Marcelino Orlondo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Normando struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Epifanio Laurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanús FC. The supporters of Lanús FC booed when Cubanea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cubanea's Epifanio Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Orlondo in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Zacarias Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanús FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Marcelino Orlondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cubanea's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Eufrasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Gergori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Urbano Lope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robustiano Gergori. Lanús FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urbano Lope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Marcelino Orlondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cubanea's Epifanio Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Normando in the 90th minute of play. The Lanús FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cubanea's performance. The match ended with a win for Cubanea.
