When Imperio del Sur's Benjamin Elazar in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Albino Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Elazar in the 18th minute of the match. If Benjamin Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Imperio del Sur booed when Centenario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Centenario got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Galoer. Centenario's Albino Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Elazar in the 27th minute of play. Gaudencio Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Melquiades Fiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centenario. After 33 played minutes Centenario got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Sidoro. Melquiades Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Vito in the 36th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Centenario got a freekick which was hit by Israel Bermudez. Emilio Sanduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Albino Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Elazar was the one to do the kick off. Benjamin Elazar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Albino Marin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabricio Rubio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Centenario booed when Imperio del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Elazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albino Marin came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Elazar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes Centenario got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Domiku. After 74 minutes, Ruperto Gizon made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Centenario's Albino Marin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th play minute Benjamin Elazar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albino Marin. 0-4. Albino Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Ralondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Centenario's goalkeeper Albino Marin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Imperio del Sur's Laureano Ralondo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Elazar in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Marin saved Centenario from getting behind. The Centenario fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Imperio del Sur were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
