When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Laureano Ralondo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Apolo Ramirez to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Imperio del Sur's zone, Christian Iruinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Fiz came out of the goal and Christian Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Iruinea in the 9th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Imperio del Sur's Benjamin Elazar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Benjamin Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Ramirez having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Mauro Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Gizon in the 32nd minute of play forced Calilegua AFC's goalkeeper Apolo Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Benjamin Elazar put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Apolo Ramirez. Benjamin Elazar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Apolo Ramirez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Apolo Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Gizon in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rdth minute of the game Benjamin Elazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calilegua AFC's Apolo Ramirez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Benjamin Elazar put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Apolo Ramirez. After 46 played minutes Calilegua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Dayam. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christian Iruinea made the kick off in the second half. After 52nd play minutes Benjamin Elazar shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Apolo Ramirez and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Calilegua AFC's zone, Laureano Ralondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Ramirez came out of the goal and Laureano Ralondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Imperio del Sur's Benjamin Elazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Ramirez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Mauro Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calilegua AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Mundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Fiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Calilegua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Mundo. In the 73rd minute Benjamin Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Ralondo might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Ramirez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Ralondo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Elazar in the 77th minute of play forced Calilegua AFC's goalkeeper Apolo Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Benjamin Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Elazar in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Ramirez saved Calilegua AFC from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Benjamin Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio del Sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Ruperto Gizon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Imperio del Sur had played much better football throughout.
