After a defensive mix-up in Tapiales's zone, Severino Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Burutzagi came out of the goal and Severino Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Lluciano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Jagüelito FC's Rosendo Firme. Rosendo Firme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jeronimo Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Venceslao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Venceslao in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gaspar Venceslao reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rosendo Firme. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Torres in the 27th minute of play forced Tapiales's goalkeeper Lorenzo Burutzagi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Hats hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rosendo Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Paublo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 38 minutes into the match, Jagüelito FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Firme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Lluciano. In the 41st minute, Severino Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tapiales booed when Jagüelito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Venceslao made a kick off. In the 55th play minute Severino Torres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lorenzo Burutzagi. 2-1. Gaspar Venceslao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tapiales's Lorenzo Burutzagi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Hats in the 75th minute of play. Rosendo Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gaspar Venceslao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rosendo Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With his leg Lorenzo Burutzagi managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Jagüelito FC's Matias Hats fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tapiales had won after a very even match.
