In the 22nd minute, Arturo Incendio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mussi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lorenzo Burutzagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Mitxaut in the 25th minute of play. Jeronimo Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Melquiades Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mussi getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nicolas Perpinya hit a great ball. Mussi's Melquiades Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Venceslao in the 43rd minute of play. If Gaspar Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Mussi booed when Tapiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Tebaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Venceslao couldn't finish the play. Arturo Incendio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Fernando Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lorenzo Burutzagi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Arturo Incendio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lorenzo Burutzagi, 1-3. Mussi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
