Epifanio Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Albino Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Nalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Rosendo Firme made a huge save. If Epifanio Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jagüelito FC's Rosendo Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Firmin in the 33rd minute of play. Americo Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Firme having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jagüelito FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Firme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergio Maraman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rosendo Firme. That made the score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Maraman to strike the kick off in the second half. If Epifanio Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Severino Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Jagüelito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Rami to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mercedes AFC's Pablo Orlandus got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Severino Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jagüelito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosendo Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Nalo in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Jagüelito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Hats to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Sergio Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Maraman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosendo Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Nalo in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Torres in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Eliazar saved Mercedes AFC from getting behind. After 96 played minutes Mercedes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Deunoro. Albino Eliazar made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Epifanio Sengrat sent off a good shot on target. Mercedes AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jagüelito FC for a fine match.
