Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabricio Lesardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nicasio Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Hustaz having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Guaberto Cordarrol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morenillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suriyaco AFC the free kick. 5 minutes into the game, one of Morenillo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Suriyaco AFC. Baltasar Beremundo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luciano Beltran. 0-1. In the 10th minute, Fabricio Lesardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Beltran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 19thth minute of the game Fabricio Lesardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morenillo's Luciano Beltran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Morenillo's Rodolfo Modestio got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Fabricio Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Romildo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Hustaz saved Suriyaco AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Suriyaco AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Israel Liher hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Gaudencio Txordon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damian Hustaz. The goal made the score 1-2. Fabricio Lesardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Nicasio Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fabricio Lesardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luciano Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Morenillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Modestio to maneuver through the defense. When Atilano Dantel came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Suriyaco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Dantel couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute of the match, Fabricio Lesardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luciano Beltran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 79 played minutes Suriyaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Lesardo. Morenillo's Nicasio Romildo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Israel Liher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Damian Hustaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Romildo in the 88th minute of play forced Suriyaco AFC's goalkeeper Damian Hustaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Luciano Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suriyaco AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
