Gaston Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Gaueko having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Flavio Oroitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. One of Ciudadela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lumb:s goal. Gaston Gonchan took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Gaueko. Lino Gaueko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 93rd minute, Jimeno Eutor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lino Gaueko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute of the match, Gaston Gonchan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lino Gaueko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Ciudadela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lumb's performance. The match ended with a win for Lumb.
