Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alejandro Lando took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Gómez's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Palos came free, but Cecilio Berbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Palos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cecilio Berbiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Alejandro Lando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quines FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Lando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Berbiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Tercero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rene Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Palos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Berbiz having to interfere. The supporters of Quines FC booed when Gómez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Bertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gómez's zone, Victorino Palos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Berbiz came out of the goal and Victorino Palos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Tercero in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Julian Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victorino Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Orlo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Bertin in the 45th minute. Rene Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Tercero in the 46th minute of the match. Victorino Palos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Berbiz having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidro Tercero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rene Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Tercero in the 53rd minute of the match. If Isidro Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quines FC's Rene Orlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Bertin in the 56th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Angelino Aureo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gómez and the Quines FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Cecilio Berbiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Angelino Aureo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. In the 63rd match minute, Gómez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Aureo to maneuver through the defense. Cecilio Berbiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Lando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Bertin in the 76th minute of play forced Quines FC's goalkeeper Rene Orlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Flor hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gómez's Julian Umea got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Alejandro Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Berbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Bertin in the 89th minute of play forced Quines FC's goalkeeper Rene Orlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Lando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
