The Hornillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Beti should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Timoteo Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saul Goodman..'s supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Berdaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timoteo Berdaitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Siro Beti came out and tried to block the shot, but Timoteo Berdaitz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Hornillos's goalkeeper Siro Beti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Hever. In the 23rd minute, Timoteo Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Berriotxoa having to interfere. Timoteo Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Lapurdi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Timoteo Berdaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Gaspard in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Beti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hornillos's Siro Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Berdaitz in the 42nd minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Gaspard heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Siro Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Hever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timoteo Berdaitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saul Goodman..'s Timoteo Berdaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Timoteo Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Berdaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saul Goodman..'s zone, Domingos Gutxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Berriotxoa came out of the goal and Domingos Gutxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Beti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Berdaitz in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Hornillos getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nicasio Nerio hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Timoteo Berdaitz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hornillos's Siro Beti. Siro Beti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Berdaitz in the 72nd minute of play forced Hornillos's goalkeeper Siro Beti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pastor Mero fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saul Goodman..'s protests and gave Pastor Mero a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Tiso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Aristides Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Timoteo Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 86 played minutes Hornillos got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Cuartio. Timoteo Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Saul Goodman..'s Basilio Hitz got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
