Freddy Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Koldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias James. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Koldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Procopio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Isaias James didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capdevila. Fidel Llope hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Leoiar in the 41st minute of play forced Capdevila's goalkeeper Roman Rufio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Leoiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Roman Rufio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Leoiar made a kick off.
