The supporters of Hualcupén AFC booed when Aguara Guazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Eutor didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Mundo was the one to do the kick off. Domingos Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Laurgain in the 63rd minute of the match. Eustaquio Mingo's late challenge caught a Aguara Guazu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Azeari's late challenge caught a Hualcupén AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Blas Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hualcupén AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Mundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Koldobika breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anier Inko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Fernandez having to make a save. In the 84th minute Aurelio Laurgain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Candido Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Aurelio Laurgain fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Domingos Fernandez. 92 minutes into the match, Candido Azeari notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hualcupén AFC's Domingos Fernandez. Domingos Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 99 minutes into the match, Hualcupén AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Laurgain came free, but Domingos Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aguara Guazu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hualcupén AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
