Penalty! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 5 played minutes, when Acambuco:s Gaspar Quinton calmly waited for PatquíaViejo FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Elvio Iago managed to get in a good position for a shot. PatquíaViejo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Iago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Feliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ildefonso Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Celio having to interfere. Acambuco's Honorio Pacho got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Eustacio Balesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Celio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Celio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Balesio in the 24th minute of the match. If Honorio Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Rito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PatquíaViejo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acambuco the free kick. A collision led to PatquíaViejo FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ermegildo Rito hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eustacio Balesio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerardo Celio. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Honorio Pacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eustacio Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Florinio's late challenge caught a PatquíaViejo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Florinio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Acambuco getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Florentino Florinio hit a great ball. Ildefonso Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Feliu having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Erasmo Qwinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acambuco and the PatquíaViejo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ildefonso Errapel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Ermegildo Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Balesio in the 59th minute of play forced PatquíaViejo FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Celio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Ubarna kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, Acambuco's Honorio Pacho made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Celio was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the PatquíaViejo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Acambuco.
