Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victoriano Sesuldo started the match with the kick off. Arturo Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Victoriano Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Sesuldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tipán's Camilo Francesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Tipán from getting a goal against them. Ruperto Ubarna struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Camilo Francesco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mechongué. Dante Katia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Francesco having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mechongué's goalkeeper Arturo Cresencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Pedro Gutierrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Cresencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Froilan Sol kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Arturo Cresencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Sesuldo in the 25th minute of the match. If Ruperto Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Katia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Camilo Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Maximo Montxo fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mechongué's protests and gave Maximo Montxo a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Mechongué got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Montxo. Tipán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerardo Urtungo in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Mechongué defense, Pedro Gutierrez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Cresencio. The Mechongué fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Cresencio should have stopped the shot. If Victoriano Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dante Katia to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mechongué's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Sesuldo came free, but Arturo Cresencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Pedro Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pedro Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tipán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. Tipán's Iker Mikeldi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arturo Cresencio but with some difficulty. Arturo Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Tipán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Sol to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mechongué's zone, Victoriano Sesuldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Cresencio came out of the goal and Victoriano Sesuldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Gutierrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Arturo Cresencio made a huge save. In the last second Arturo Cresencio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Victoriano Sesuldo in the 85thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mechongué's Arturo Cresencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Mechongué from getting a goal against them. Arturo Cresencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Sesuldo in the 88th minute of play. Arturo Cresencio made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Pedro Gutierrez sent off a good shot on target. After 92 played minutes Mechongué got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Cordarius. Pedro Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Cresencio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mechongué's zone, Victoriano Sesuldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Cresencio came out of the goal and Victoriano Sesuldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tipán's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
