A very good chance. Mechongué's Arturo Cresencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Errapel in the 20th minute of play. Arturo Cresencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ildefonso Errapel's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Arturo Cresencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvio Iago in the 22nd minute. Elvio Iago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Cresencio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mechongué's Adrian Lartaun got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Ermegildo Rito fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PatquíaViejo FC's protests and gave Ermegildo Rito a yellow card for diving instead. 33 minutes into the match, PatquíaViejo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Katia came free, but Gerardo Celio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mechongué booed when PatquíaViejo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Mechongué's goalkeeper Arturo Cresencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Iago. The supporters of PatquíaViejo FC booed when Mechongué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Fonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Errapel was the one to do the kick off. Fernan Cordarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, PatquíaViejo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Katia came free, but Gerardo Celio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mechongué players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
