Niceto Ibar struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Lázaro Quintun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Guardia Imperial. With a little luck, Iturreguí's Lázaro Quintun got control of the ball when Javier Gardner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Javier Gardner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Quintun having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Ibar in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Quintun saved Iturreguí from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as La Guardia Imperial's Niceto Ibar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lázaro Quintun. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Iturreguí's Lázaro Quintun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Iturreguí from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Iturreguí's goalkeeper Lázaro Quintun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Gardner. When Lisandro Farias fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iturreguí's protests and gave Lisandro Farias a yellow card for diving instead. Lisandro Farias hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Biren Mukhopadhyay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Quintun. Iturreguí's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Niceto Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Quintun made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Javier Gardner sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Iturreguí getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Geronimo Fortun hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Niceto Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Guardia Imperial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Ibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Gardner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Quintun having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Ibar in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Quintun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Javier Gardner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lázaro Quintun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Javier Gardner sped through Iturreguí's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lázaro Quintun. In the 62ndth minute of the game Niceto Ibar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iturreguí's Lázaro Quintun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Javier Gardner took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lázaro Quintun. Lázaro Quintun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Lázaro Quintun didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when La Guardia Imperial's Niceto Ibar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, La Guardia Imperial's Biren Mukhopadhyay got a free kick in the 74th minute. Iturreguí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Javier Gardner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 93 minutes into the game, La Guardia Imperial's Javier Gardner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Quintun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Guardia Imperial fully deserved thier win.
