The Amado Paez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
In the 59th minute of the match Orlando Pirro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Paez skillfully saved the ball. Moises Mikeldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Haritz in the 63rd minute of the match. Eloy Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Mikeldi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Haritz in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moises Mikeldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Yariguarenda's Eulalio Haritz in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loreto's goalie prevented a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Loreto's Angel Miliano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Paez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Eloy Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Miliano charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Miliano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Angel Miliano came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Loreto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Miliano couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Serafino Cordeara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yariguarenda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loreto the free kick. Serafino Cordeara hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Loreto played a much better game than Yariguarenda and deserved their victory. The Yariguarenda players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
