Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antonio Ekhi got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Antonio Ekhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clason's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Ekhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Benitez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Ekhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Ekhi in the 12th minute of play forced Piedritas's goalkeeper Silverio Benitez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Gombal charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Gombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Feliberto Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Haitz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aureliano Artizar. Silverio Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Gabon in the 20th minute of play. Carlos Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Silverio Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Silverio Benitez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Ekhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Sagrario to make the kick off. Christian Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Sagrario in the 51st minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Piedritas's Americo Sagrario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Haitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Americo Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carlos Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Clason fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Gabon couldn't finish the play. Samuel Baumer charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Baumer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Carlos Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Clason fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Gabon couldn't finish the play. Antonio Ekhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Benitez having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Piedritas's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Ekhi came free, but Silverio Benitez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Clason booed when Piedritas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Ekhi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Silverio Benitez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clason. Americo Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Haitz having to interfere.
