Miranda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zoltán Borbély was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 21st minute, C.A.Almafuerte's Zoltán Borbély ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidio Ezkerra. Ovidio Ezkerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Ovidio Ezkerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Borbély in the 28th minute of play. Fernan Alfonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Ezkerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Alfonso ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.Almafuerte's Fernan Alfonso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Ezkerra. That made the score 4-0 after 32 minutes of play. Fernan Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoltán Borbély sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoltán Borbély was the one to do the kick off. Zoltán Borbély might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Ezkerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee ignored C.A.Almafuerte's protests and gave Cahyo Sastrowardoyo a yellow card for diving instead. C.A.Almafuerte's Fernan Alfonso got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidio Ezkerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Borbély went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Miranda AFC's zone, Fernan Alfonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Ezkerra came out of the goal and Fernan Alfonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Zoltán Borbély who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miranda AFC's Ovidio Ezkerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nestor Mederi fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miranda AFC's protests and gave Nestor Mederi a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Mederi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. C.A.Almafuerte's Remigio Frederico suffered a concussion in the 93rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Victorino Carlomagno fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miranda AFC's protests and gave Victorino Carlomagno a yellow card for diving instead. There was no doubt that C.A.Almafuerte were the better team. C.A.Almafuerte's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
