Anibal Pello started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Pello in the 3rd minute of play forced Corolina's goalkeeper Omar Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Pello hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Candelaria AFC's Pascual Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Omero in the 8th minute of play. Anibal Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Cutberto having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Candelaria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Aresti came free, but Pascual Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Pascual Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Clodio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Omar Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Galtero in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Corolina's Jorge Aresti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascual Cutberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jorge Aresti made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Corolina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Aresti to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Candelaria AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Anibal Pello hit a great ball. Pascual Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Aresti in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Corolina's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Galtero came free, but Omar Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ciro Galtero struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Omar Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candelaria AFC. Casimiro Omero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Pascual Cutberto made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Candelaria AFC's Eugenio Clodio got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Santos Ostargi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Nicholas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Corolina's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Pello came free, but Omar Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Jorge Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Corolina's Jorge Aresti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Corolina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
