Rodrigo Hats showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Bartolo Elequemedo made the kick off in the second half. Calzada's Rodrigo Hats collided with an opponent after 52 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. After 52 minutes, Aureliano Flor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monsalvo FC and the Calzada players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Calzada booed when Monsalvo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cayetano Clementi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calzada's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Clementi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Bonadona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Conrao having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Calzada's Bartolo Elequemedo got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Ur during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Monsalvo FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aureliano Flor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calzada's Tomás Conrao. 2-2. Bartolo Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bartolo Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
