Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Monsalvo FC's Eduardo Tiniebra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conrado Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Dunixi having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Quirós AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Tiniebra came free, but Gervasio Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Cordarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Bonadona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingo Cordarin ran back to his position shaking his head. Gregorio Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Rocendo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Rocendo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabian Rocendo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Quirós AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hernan Vedillo hit a great ball. Monsalvo FC's Aureliano Flor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quirós AFC. Gervasio Dunixi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Celino in the 25th minute. Gervasio Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Tiniebra in the 26th minute of the match. If Domingo Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Eduardo Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Ferrer made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gregorio Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quirós AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Ferrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Bonadona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee ignored Monsalvo FC's protests and gave Arsenio Polo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Quirós AFC booed when Monsalvo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Domingo Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Domingo Cordarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Bonadona was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Monsalvo FC's zone, Domingo Cordarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Bonadona came out of the goal and Domingo Cordarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Tiniebra in the 84th minute of play. Domingo Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Eduardo Tiniebra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Quirós AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Celino came free, but Gervasio Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quirós AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
