Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gogo Palban started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Desiderio Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Ixona having to interfere. If Desiderio Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Artaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ovidio Perico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Guillen having to make a save. Gogo Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Encina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Miro to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match, Desiderio Niva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alonzo Ixona was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Desiderio Niva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Alonzo Ixona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Encina's zone, Gogo Palban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Ixona came out of the goal and Gogo Palban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Encina booed when DIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Niva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Desiderio Niva managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Niva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Ixona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gogo Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Palban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 57 played minutes, DIO's Benigno Platon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alonzo Ixona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DIO reached it. Ovidio Perico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Guillen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. When Encina's Prudencio Dei in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DIO's goalie prevented a goal. DIO's Gogo Palban got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Palban in the 74th minute of play forced Encina's goalkeeper Alonzo Ixona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes DIO got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Eleder. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Dei in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Guillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the game, Victorio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encina the free kick. Victorio Arias hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Desiderio Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alonzo Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Maurino kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gogo Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Encina's Alonzo Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Niva in the 94th minute of play. In the 98th minute Gogo Palban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Ixona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
