Elvio Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Fidencio during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Magnano's Evelio Fidencio got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Eloy Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gonzalez Catan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Pasqual was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute Eloy Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Pasqual in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Sadurni saved Magnano from getting behind. Gonzalez Catan FC's Jimeno Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Baraquiel in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Magnano's goalkeeper Bartolo Sadurni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Misael. Arsenio Ciceron hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Elvio Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gonzalez Catan FC's Eloy Pasqual in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magnano's goalie prevented a goal. Magnano's Evelio Fidencio pulled a muscle in his back after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 23 minutes into the game, Nicolas Paulin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzalez Catan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magnano the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gonzalez Catan FC's Nicolas Paulin got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Elvio Misael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartolo Sadurni. Magnano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Misael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Paulo Loreto charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Loreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Elvio Misaels short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Bartolo Sadurni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Elvio Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Pasqual blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Sadurni having to make a save. Elvio Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Baraquiel made a kick off. Elvio Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bartolo Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Misael in the 54th minute of the match. Bartolo Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Misael in the 56th minute of play. Antonio Baraquiel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jimeno Laffitte firmly grabbed it by the left post. Elvio Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bartolo Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Eriberto Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzalez Catan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Abel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eriberto Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Sadurni having to interfere. If Eriberto Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Antonio Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Misael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Sadurni having to interfere. If Eriberto Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnano's Antonio Baraquiel got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Magnano's zone, Elvio Misael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Sadurni came out of the goal and Elvio Misael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalez Catan FC's Eriberto Abel got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magnano's goalkeeper Bartolo Sadurni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elvio Misael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Sadurni having to interfere. Nicolas Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elvio Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Eriberto Abel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Magnano's Bartolo Sadurni. Bartolo Sadurni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gonzalez Catan FC fully deserved thier win.
