Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edgardo Lamberto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aquilino Erroman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Iraitz's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Lamberto in the 12th minute of play forced Carmen's goalkeeper Jonatan Donostia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Carmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Ishmael charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Ishmael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Palmar booed when Carmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Donostia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Carmen's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Lamberto came free, but Jonatan Donostia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmen's Jonatan Donostia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Carmen from getting a goal against them. After having played for 22 minutes, Gilberto Iraitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Iraitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquilino Erroman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Foro's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Aquilino Erroman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Iraitz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Orlando Donostia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonatan Donostia, passed just outside the right post. Aquilino Erroman came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carmen's Uriel Foro. But to his dismay, Uriel Foro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uriel Foro to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Palmar getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gualterio Luke hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Carmen's Clodoveo Lawrence broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 66th minute, Edgardo Lamberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Godofredo Bibiano fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmar's protests and gave Godofredo Bibiano a yellow card for diving instead. Uriel Foro struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Aquilino Erroman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmen. Uriel Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aquilino Erroman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gilberto Iraitz came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Carmen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Iraitz couldn't finish the play. After having played for 80 minutes, Uriel Foro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Foro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, one of Carmen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Godofredo Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Donostia having to interfere. Carmen's Jonatan Donostia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Donostia in the 91st minute of play. Orlando Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Donostia having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carmen's zone, Orlando Donostia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Donostia came out of the goal and Orlando Donostia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
