Victorino Cedro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sebastian Weather came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gessler AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Weather couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Sebastian Weather sped through Nikizanga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teobaldo Clodio. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 54th minute, Evelio Baumer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikizanga's Victorino Cedro got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernabe Turi might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Montrel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernabe Turi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Jonathan Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Felipe Montrel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gessler AFC's Felipe Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Turi in the 72nd minute of play. Teobaldo Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Bidun in the 74th minute of the match. Delmar Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Teobaldo Clodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Sengrat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Montrel having to make a save. Felipe Montrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Cedro in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Nikizanga got a corner. Gessler AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnaldo Ourente ran over to the corner to take the kick. Victorino Cedro scored 3-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Montrel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nikizanga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
