Luciano Otsoko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Ranqueles AFC's Leonides Arce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Beliran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Pastor Urtsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Leonides Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veljko Měšťan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Nabar in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Leonides Arce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marciano Beliran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Millonarioneuquino's attentive Bernardino Tancredo managed to snatch the ball when Juan José Serrizuela made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. After 25 minutes, Carlos Belasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millonarioneuquino and the Ranqueles AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Millonarioneuquino getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Carlos Belasko hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ranqueles AFC's Veljko Měšťan got control of the ball when Edelmiro Nabar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ranqueles AFC's Leonides Arce in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Millonarioneuquino's goalie prevented a goal. Millonarioneuquino's Marciano Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Arce in the 33rd minute of play. Luciano Otsoko kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Marciano Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Ranqueles AFC's goalkeeper Veljko Měšťan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Nabar. Bernardino Tulio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edelmiro Nabar to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Arce in the 56th minute of play forced Millonarioneuquino's goalkeeper Marciano Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ranqueles AFC's zone, Edelmiro Nabar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veljko Měšťan came out of the goal and Edelmiro Nabar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veljko Měšťan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Nabar in the 66th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veljko Měšťan having to interfere. The supporters of Ranqueles AFC booed when Millonarioneuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Nabar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Beliran made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Luciano Otsoko sent off a good shot on target. If Angelo Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Millonarioneuquino supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ranqueles AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ranqueles AFC.
