The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Presebal helped the player get up and apologised. Jairo Presebal hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Saul Maiorga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jairo Presebal hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Goizeder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristides Quilo. Los Quemeros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonel Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Ostots having to interfere. Aristides Quilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Brun in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Cordeiro in the 16th minute of play forced Los Quemeros's goalkeeper Aristides Quilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Hondo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Saul Maiorga fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Quemeros's protests and gave Saul Maiorga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Saul Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Sudor y Sangre's Bonifacio Goizeder tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes, Ladislao Maiorga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Quemeros and the Sudor y Sangre players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sudor y Sangre booed when Los Quemeros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Pascual Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sudor y Sangre's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Quilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Los Quemeros's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Brun came free, but Aristides Quilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Quilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Cordeiro in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Pascual Brun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Quemeros's Aristides Quilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristides Quilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Flavio Hondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sudor y Sangre and the Los Quemeros players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Flavio Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Txeru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Quemeros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sudor y Sangre the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los Quemeros's Rodolfo Txeru got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Aristides Quilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Cordeiro in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ladislao Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes Los Quemeros got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Hori. In the 58th minute, Albano Bautista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Maiorga in the 59th minute of play forced Sudor y Sangre's goalkeeper Eduardo Ostots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Txeru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Ostots read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Aristides Quilo was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Modesto Cristofol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modesto Cristofol really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Sudor y Sangre made a substitution. Teo Guzman replaced Isaias Cordeiro. Teo Guzman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Quilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Modesto Cristofol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Quilo. Los Quemeros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Cristofol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 73rd minute, Sudor y Sangre's Modesto Cristofol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aristides Quilo. Aristides Quilo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Saul Maiorga kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Los Quemeros's Luiz Fabiano da Costa was substituted for Ladislao Maiorga. After a rather tough play, Los Quemeros's Saul Maiorga got a free kick in the 78th minute. Aristides Quilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Cristofol, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Aristides Quilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Quilo was a little too slow when Pascual Brun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-4. 85 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Eduardo Ostots was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Luiz Fabiano da Costa had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 88 minutes, Albano Bautista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sudor y Sangre and the Los Quemeros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Los Quemeros made a substitution. Manuel Karmel replaced Luiz Fabiano da Costa. After 90 played minutes Sudor y Sangre got a freekick which was hit by Albano Bautista. A collision led to Los Quemeros getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rodolfo Txeru hit a great ball.
