An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Berggren in the 8th minute of play forced Luján's goalkeeper Gervasio Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Luján's goalkeeper Gervasio Cucao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Ofelio. In the 11th minute, Hugo Ofelio made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Cucao. Luján's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugo Ofelio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gervasio Cucao. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Hugo Ofelio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 40th playminute. Gervasio Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Ofelio in the 43rd minute of play. Hugo Ofelio in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Gervasio Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Corderun in the 45th minute of the match. Luján's Gervasio Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Ofelio in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Luján's zone, Dionisio Lluques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Cucao came out of the goal and Dionisio Lluques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Ofelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Ofelio in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Cucao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Ofelio in the 55th managed to get into a good position. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Hugo Ofelio sped through Luján's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gervasio Cucao. The audience was convinced that Mikael Berggren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Cucao was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
