A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Victor Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match Leopoldo Gilen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingo Rius skillfully saved the ball. Serafin Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Franco having to interfere. Raimundo Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Domingo Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Serafin Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Esperanza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Polo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 minutes, Feliciano Urdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bajo Nuñez and the Club Esperanza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Bajo Nuñez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Urdin to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Martin Medero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bajo Nuñez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Esperanza FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Serafin Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Esperanza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Papo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Club Esperanza FC booed when Bajo Nuñez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Papo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nicanor Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Esperanza FC. After having played for 70 minutes, Victor Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bajo Nuñez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Deunoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bajo Nuñez's zone, Alvaro Tano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Franco came out of the goal and Alvaro Tano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
