In the 4thth minute of the game Aurelio Henrico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAJA lechuzo's Jim Gabrielsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Cordaryal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Gabrielsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tipas's zone, Domingo Etxahun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Rito came out of the goal and Domingo Etxahun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aurelio Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, CAJA lechuzo's Domingo Etxahun got a free kick in the 10th minute. Sebastian Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jim Gabrielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, CAJA lechuzo's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Cordaryal came free, but Jim Gabrielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Sebastian Cordaryal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Gabrielsson. CAJA lechuzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Cordaryal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Etxepare during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CAJA lechuzo's Primitivo Etxepare got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jim Gabrielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Etxahun hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jim Gabrielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sebastian Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jim Gabrielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lázaro Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Gabrielsson having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Cordaryal to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tipas's Sebastian Cordaryal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jim Gabrielsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Gabrielsson having to interfere. When Guaberto Liberto came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the CAJA lechuzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Liberto couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tipas getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lázaro Socorro hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Domingo Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAJA lechuzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Etxahun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Jim Gabrielsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jim Gabrielsson made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Aurelio Henrico sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Tipas booed when CAJA lechuzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Etxahun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tipas were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after CAJA lechuzo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bruno Artaldo took the corner. Tipas's Bruno Artaldo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jim Gabrielsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Sebastian Cordaryal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, CAJA lechuzo's Jim Gabrielsson got control of the ball when Aurelio Henrico tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Aurelio Henrico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to CAJA lechuzo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Domingo Etxahun hit a great ball. Tipas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
