Monteverde's Toby Gregg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Teodor in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Lino Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monteverde and the defensa argentina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Teodor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toby Gregg having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Monteverde's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Wind came free, but Toby Gregg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Olgierd Marajda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the defensa argentina and the Monteverde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Wind struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Toby Gregg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for defensa argentina. Ivan Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Gregg having to interfere. Anastasio Garcia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tzvetan Marvakov came out and tried to block the shot, but Anastasio Garcia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 51st minute, one of Monteverde:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Monteverde. After some careless play in the defensa argentina defense, Fabricio Aurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tzvetan Marvakov. The defensa argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tzvetan Marvakov should have stopped the shot. Simon Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Justino Garin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzvetan Marvakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Gregg having to interfere. Toby Gregg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Teodor in the 93rd minute of the match. Ivan Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Gregg having to interfere. Tzvetan Marvakov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Umbruso went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. defensa argentina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
