With a little luck, Monteverde's Toby Gregg got control of the ball when Leon Cresitobalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melquiades Belmiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toby Gregg having to make a save. Monteverde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Umbruso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monteverde's Toby Gregg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Belmiro in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Monteverde's Fabricio Aurre got a free kick in the 24th minute. Melquiades Belmiro succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anastasio Garcia to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Armando Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benjamin Hitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anastasio Garcia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 63 minute of play. A very good chance. Armando Umbruso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Monteverde players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pescadores from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
