Pan y Vino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Richmond the free kick. After 6 played minutes Pan y Vino FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Sayvion. In the 7th minute Benito Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Txilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Pan y Vino FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Cordeal. 16 minutes into the match, Pan y Vino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Obano came free, but Diego Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Benito Nataniel got a free kick in the 19th minute. Bernardo Romeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Diego Txilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Txilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Romeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Bernardo Romeo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pan y Vino FC's Diego Txilar. Diego Txilar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vinicio Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Diego Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Diego Txilar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Kepa in the 56th minute. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Pan y Vino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Txilar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Nataniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Diego Txilar made a huge save. Benito Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bernardo Romeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Zabaleta kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Pablo Zabaleta got a free kick in the 94th minute. AFC Richmond played a much better game than Pan y Vino FC and deserved their victory. The Pan y Vino FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
