In the 18th minute, Ismael Ongile ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Raitin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute Aureliano Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Raitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Bibiano during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palmira AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Astor Bibiano hit a great ball. The tension between the Morteros and the Palmira AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Morteros getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Florentino Aznar hit a great ball. The Palmira AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Morteros were winning 0-3.

The Palmira AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Morteros's performance. The match ended with a win for Morteros.
